"Moulin du David" is a 15th century water-mill set in the picturesque countryside in the heart of the Pays de la Loire. The huge water-wheel can still be seen. The relaxing sound off river l'Uzure flows past the mill house.
Located close to the village of Craon, Moulin du David is easily accessible from Laval and Highway less than 20 miles.

In Laval you will find a golf club with 27 holes In Craon you find the largest racetrack of West France. It's a paradise if you love fishing.
Saint Malo and Mont Saint Michel about 90 miles. Saumer for tasting wine 60 miles. Very good beaches St. Marc sur Mer or the famous "La Baule" 90 miles.
Very popular are the weekly Brocante Markets. You find many charming brocante shops.
In de buurt (max 30 minuten per auto): klimmen, zwemmen, golfen, wandelen, mountainbiken, fietsen, paardrijden, watersport, tennis.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the main house or terrace
Breakfast is included in the tariffs (only for the rooms), and dinner is an optional extra. Our French breakfast consists of a selection of fruits, yoghurt and local pastries with tea or coffee.
Dinner is prepared on site and incorporates many local speciality dishes. The five course menu – starter, main course, cheese board, dessert and coffee – features fresh local produce which is sourced on a daily basis.
Dinner costs €25.= per person – please pre-book.
French wines are available. At a cost from €10 per bottle this offers fantastic value
Because the river flows right past the houses, it is not very safe for small children.

Pays de la Loire kent een micro-climaat. Omdat het gebied bijna op de 0-meridiaan licht (op de kaart zowat onder Londen) zijn de dagen- en is de zomer langer dan in Nedreland. Zachte winters en mild warme zomers. Kortom uitstekend voor alle buitenactivitetien.
