The house
Our Chabanais Gite is named after our local town and has a king size bedroom and a twin room, on the ground floor with a 2nd WC and upstairs is open plan fully equipped kitchen and living area, a bathroom with a shower and toilet .
Large covered terrace with table and chairs and comfy sofas - secured gate to keep children safe. BBQ and 2nd table and chairs provided on the lawned area.
Cot, highchair and stair gate is available free of charge on request.

On the property, you will find a pool, trampoline, swing, slide, table football and table tennis. The property is not on a main road, but not out in the middle of nowhere either! Exideuil is just 2km from us with basic amenities and Chabanais 6km with all amenities. We are situated on the Charente/Limousin border between Limoges and Angouleme.

Fijne plek. Zeker de Veranda! Gezien het mindere weer was het fijn om beschut buiten te kunnen zijn. Zwembad hebben we weinig gebruik van gemaakt ivm de lage temperaturen. Huisje en inventaris is compleet met een fijne douche (op bovenste verdieping naast de keuken).
Beneden is het koel, zeker bij hete zomers een voordeel. Nu was het wel een beetje vochtig, door de vele regenval.
Julie en Guy zijn erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam, maar ze laten je ook met rust. Ze bieden ook een pizza-avond met hun houtgestookte oven en zelfgemaakte pizza's; erg lekker.Daniel William from UK,

Relax and unwind.. Perfect place for great family time. We enjoyed our trip, the gite, the dogs and chicken, my happy family and fantastic surroundings. Thanks to Julie and Guy, everything was perfect.

Pubs, bars, restaurants and shops are in nearby Chabanais (6km).
Exideuil (2km) has a village shop, post office, pharmacy, boulangerie and bar.

We have a 9m x 5m above ground pool (shared) on site.

Canoe/kayaking available on the river 2km from us in Exideuil or at the lakes. Guided trips available so you can enjoy the experience and we can take photos for you and provide refreshments.
Golf at Montemart, Limoges - 4 or 5 courses around us
Many man-made beaches within 10 minutes from us at Etagnac, Roumazieres and Pressignac - popular every year with couples and families alike who take a picnic (although there is a snack bar available) watersports also available.

There are two other gîtes on the property:
Rochechouart Gite - sleeps 1 - 4. 2 twin rooms, kitchen/diner, living room, shower rooms, separate toilet .
Confolens Gite - sleeps 2-6. Double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (one on ground floor) kitchen/diner, living room, with log burner, shower room and separate WC on 1st floor.
Owners live onsite to help you have a memorable holiday visiting all the places you want to see!
Sorry, but we do not accept any Pets. We have 2 rescue dogs and chickens and ducks onsite.

Prices for September until May include the heating prices - if required at other times it is charged at 8 euros per night / 50 euros per week
