The house
This atmospheric holiday home is beautifully located: facing south and with a beautiful, distant view over a vineyard. In less than 5 min. you walk from the house to the bakery, with a cosy breakfast/coffee corner, and the small but super handy supermarket in the centre of Saint Antonin. The house is suitable for 2 to 6 persons and offers complete peace and privacy. In the large garden you will find a beautiful private pool surrounded by a large wooden terrace with sun loungers and parasols. The pool has wide, child-friendly steps. The garden borders a vineyard and offers a beautiful, distant view.
Around the house you will find several cosy corners where you can enjoy the peace and quiet from early morning till late at night, including a great covered terrace with a lovely lounge area. Outside you will also find a cosy large square dining table and a gas BBQ.
The holiday home has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have a double bed with a mosquito net plus a spacious children's room with two single beds. For the little ones, a cot and high chair can be added. All beds and mattresses are of good quality. The two modern bathrooms are equipped with a walk-in rain shower and the modern kitchen and utility room are equipped with all necessary appliances. Furthermore, in the house you will find a dining area with wood-burning stove and a sitting area with TV which gives you access to all desired channels via chromecast. There are doors to both the large terrace in front of the house with pergola and view of the lower garden with swimming pool and to the lovely covered lounge terrace on the side of the house. The walls of the house are thick, making it nice and cool in the summer. Everywhere in and around the house you have access to a good wifi internet connection. There is parking space for 2 cars on private property.
In the village of Saint Antonin you can find a number of nice and very diverse restaurants:
- hotel/restaurant Lou Cigaloun offers a good daily menu plus à la carte dishes at very reasonable prices;
- the renowned Chateau Mentone offers a beautiful view over the vineyards and a daily changing menu with a delicious glass of house wine, here are also regular jazz concerts in the summer;
- from Tuesday to Sunday, you can order delicious pizzas from the local pizza van in the village;
- and for a menu in a slightly higher price and quality class you can go to the excellent restaurant l'Estellan.

From the holiday home you can walk in 5 minutes to the centre of the village Saint Antonin du Var where you will find a bakery and a small supermarket. It is a 10 minute drive to the centre of the village of Lorgues. Here you will find bakers and butchers, two large supermarkets and several restaurants with cosy terraces.

Fantastische vakantie gehad in prachtig huis gelegen op een idyllische plek met heerlijk zwembad. Huis is ruim en echt van alle gemakken voorzien.

Geweldig vakantiehuis voor ons. Wij houden van een privé omgeving en dit huis voldoet daar heel erg aan. Het eigen zwembad is verfrissend tijdens de zomer temperaturen en verder is alles aanwezig voor een rustig verblijf in een zeer mooie omgeving als de Provence. Er is geen airco maar het huis blijft wonderlijk koel dus het slapen was prima te doen. Al met al is dit huisje een top lokatie.

Fijne plek midden in de Provence. Heerlijk zwembad en fijne lounge/zitplek in de schaduw. Wel Deet meebrengen tegen de muggen.
Verder mooie plek en een aanrader om te gaan kanoën, zit om de hoek en is erg leuk om te doen met kinderen (zonder vast ook). Bakker op loopafstand met heerlijke eclairs en brood uiteraard.

In the immediate vicinity are numerous beautiful Provencal villages (Lorgues, Flayosc, Cotignac, Tourtour) with every day of the week a different market to visit. In these villages you will also find many restaurants with cosy terraces where you can enjoy excellent menus and a delicious glass of rosé, at very reasonable prices.
The area is hilly with many olive groves and vineyards, the accompanying often old wine domains you can visit to taste and buy wine. Other local specialities are goat's cheese and honey.
Activities
Directly from the house, you can make beautiful walks and mountain bike tours. The village Saint Antonin has a public tennis court, in the immediate vicinity you can go horseback riding, in the neighbouring village Carcès you can go canoeing on the river Argens and in the nearby village Lorgues you will find an adventure park and the chateau de Berne which organises, besides tours and wine tastings, all sorts of activities. Village dans le ciel' Tourtour offers you a phenomenal view over the super green surroundings and in very clear weather even a view over the Mediterranean Sea and the Mont Ventoux. At 40 km distance lies the beautiful and famous Lac de Sainte Croix (canoeing, pedal boats, swimming, sailing) and the beautiful Gorges du Verdon (including hiking, mountaineering, canoeing and rafting).
The cosy cities Aix en Provence, Nice, Cassis and Marseille are each at 45 to 60 minutes driving distance. In an hour you are at the Mediterranean Sea.

Rental prices apply for stays per week from Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am.
Prices include gas, water, electricity and internet and exclude the final cleaning of € 165.
Bed linen can be hired at € 17.50 p.p., (bath) towels should be brought with you.
During your stay, pool maintenance is taken care of.
The deposit is € 450. The tourist tax of € 1,95 per adult per day (rate 2023) will be deducted from the deposit.
