The Barn

Prima huis zeer compleet, schon, prachtige omgeving, abbaye de fontenay is absolute aanrader.
Sharon is zeer vriendelijk !

We had a wonderful week at the Barn! Gregoire, Sharon and their daughters are the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and always available for questions or help. As a family with two daughters we loved the house and found everything we needed. And of course we enjoyed Gregoires and Sharon’s wonderful food, outside on the deck with nice views of the surroundings. Area is very nice for biking, nearby trips, great food, relaxing day at a creek. Perfect!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful guesthouse. Staying in this comfortable, fully equipped, cosy and spacious place made our holiday an unforgettable one! The beautiful and picturesque scenery which we explored by car and bike (alongside the Canal de Bourgogne) to the fullest, left us with a good impression of what a pleasure it must be to live in Burgundy. Apart from the different sightseeing places of which there was enough information available in the house, we thoroughly enjoyed the different wines of this area. Last but certainly not least let us mention the tasty croissants one can order for breakfast and the unforgettable boeuf Bourguignon and pommes gratin Sharon prepared for us. A real feast for the true connoisseur.
The helpful, friendly and cheerful task Sharon and Grégoire fulfilled as our hosts was the finishing touch to make our holiday a very successfully one!

Heerlijk verblijf voor mensen die van rust houden. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen en te zien, om vervolgens terug te komen in totale rust. Sharon is zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Huis is keurig netjes!
