Walnut Tree Gîte

Well, what is there not nice to say about our stay at the Walnut Tree Gite. Tina and Graeme are so wonderful and welcoming, the gite/house is absolutely stunning and clean and has everything you need. When we arrived, they were there to greet us and even wanted to help us with our luggage and supplies. When we got into the gite there was a homemade cake with homemade chutney and wine. As other guest have already commented on, the grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas to sit and read a book or have drinks and relax. There are games you could play and of course the pool area is excellent. The location is perfect, as you are close to so many places to visit like the beach at Larmor-Plage and Josselin that is a must see along with Vannes and Auray. I could go on and on about how nice and helpful and fun Tina and Graeme are, but I think you should check it out for yourself. We will definitely stay again at The Walnut Tree Gite and to see Tina and Graeme who we now call our friends.

What a lovely holiday we had at Walnut Gite. It is situated in a really pretty rural area with lots of stunning places to visit within easy reach.
Tina and Graham couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing is to much trouble for them and the attention to detail in the accommodation is truly amazing. From the welcome pack to the well stocked kitchen this gite has it all. They have worked hard on the gardens and there are lots of places to just sit and relax and of course the heated pool is an added bonus.
We visited Josselin, Quimper, Auray and enjoyed a few hours at the beach at Larmor-Plage. The roads we found easy to travel on and there are so many lovely little places to stop along the way.
The bakery in Le Sourn is a must for breakfast pastries and bread, its only 10 minutes away and they have the most delicious choux buns.
We could easily of stayed another week, the whole place has a calm relaxing atmosphere, just to place to recharge batteries. We cant wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful week staying at Walnut Tree. On arrival we were met by Tina and Graham, who welcomed us warmly and showed us around the gite. There was also a lovely, generous welcome pack.
The gite is spotlessly clean and Tina and Graham have included everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
There is ample room for six people with towels provided for everyone too. The beds are very comfortable with good quality bed linen.
The outside areas are all well looked after with several options for choosing where to sit and relax. The pool is in its own secure enclosure and, again, is spotlessly clean. It is cleaned on a daily basis.
There is a selection of games to play indoors and there is also a covered barn area outside with its own selection of outdoor games.
Nothing is too much trouble for Tina and Graham. They provide any help and advice when needed and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is very obvious that a lot of effort and pride goes into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Where to start!
When we arrived Tina and Graeme were there to meet us and were so welcoming. We instantly liked them and it set the tone for our stay. The gite is spotlessly clean and they seem to have thought of everything that you could possibly need to make your stay the most comfortable, including a lovely welcome pack to start off that includes bread, butter, cake and wine!!! I mean, what more could you want?? :)
The decor throughout is tasteful and beautifully done. As hosts, Graeme and Tina are always on hand if you need anything, and really, nothing is too much trouble but they are not at all intrusive. We had a very restful week, going out for days to lovely towns and villages such as Vannes and St Nicolas. Lamor Plage was around a 40 minute drive away but was worth it! There is a beautiful almost deserted beach, and there are activities here if you want to such as wind surfing, paddle boarding and cycling, all of which you can hire the equipment that you need. We combined these days out with restful days at the Gite and all it has to offer. The peace and tranquillity is just perfect. The heated pool area is spotless and is attended every day by Graeme and Tina, morning and evening to keep this pristine. We will certainly be booking again in the future and recommending to our friends and family. Do yourself a favour and book, you wont regret it!

Loved our holiday at Walnut tree gite. The gite was beautiful, lovely decor and sparkling clean. Tina and Graeme are lovely and made the stay even more special. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival complete with wine and cake - what more could you ask for! There was lots to do in the surrounding area but the girls were more than happy playing in the private pool. All and all an amazing stay and we will definitely return.
