This house was a last minute find for us - and absolutely stunning ! If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place to go ! We had a great time cycling in the Brenne with our bikes (not ebikes!). You have to be prepared to drive out to places . The house itself has everything

Home ! I recommend taking a book. Some good food and wine cooking and enjoying the surroundings. It’s not a touristy area, so prepare to slow down !

We hebben hier een fantastische tijd gehad. Qls je van ruimte en rust houdt is dit een prachtig huisje. Van binnen is het basic, maar dat geeft zijn charme aan dit prachtige oude woon boerderijtje. Alles is aanwezig!! Het zwembad is ook super fijn voor de warme dagen. Wij hebben echt genoten!

Loved it here! The view, the lime tree, the birds and the bees, the pool - and your authentic house !

A few years ago we discovered this very special place. Since then, Every year we stay there for 1 or two weeks. At the end of a small road of about 200 meters, You will arrive at a totally free and private place with an authentic old French farmhouse and an overwhelming view over the hilly landscape. Enough space for a whole family and sun and shadow, wherever you prefer to enjoy it. The house is basic and all you need is available. Do not expect ultra modern kitchen or bathroom or a business-like house just for renting. It is the house of Jo, so you immediately feel comfortable and 'at home". Enjoy the amazing view, enjoy the flowers, enjoy the amazing stars (we even saw the moons of Jupiter with normal binoculairs), enjoy the sounds of the birds and the hooting of the owls. Go a.o. to the weekly market in the historical city of Loches and walk or bike in the close by nature reserve "Brenne" with the enormous amount of birds.

Having breakfast in the first sunbeams ........Having dinner in the shade of the lime tree.....while listening to the only sounds -of birds (and our personal woodpecker) and the leaves of the trees - and looking out over the fields. HEAVEN!
