Great thank you to Anne & John for a wonderful stay at The Barn in Vijon. Exactly as advertised and we can only echo the other reviews: spacious, well equipped and very homely lodging set in typical french serene and quiet rural environment offering beautiful views. Especially sunrise and night skies were majestic. The stocked fridge (with homemade jam, fresh raspberries, wine, fresh bread and croissants amongst others) and already burning fireplace on arrival made for a very warm welcome indeed. We were very lucky with the weather but are convinced that even with poor weather we would have completely relaxed as well.

Een fantastische gite. Ruim, schoon, en alles is aanwezig! Het uitzicht is prachtig en gaat nooit vervelen!!!!
Als we ooit nog in de buurt zijn boeken we het weer!!

Thank you Anne and John for welcoming us into your home/Barn. Your hospitality has been exceptional. The welcome pack and fresh produce from the garden has been gratefully appreciated. The Barn is extremely comfy and simply stunning. Beautiful location - would definitely recommend. What a relaxed holiday we have had, helped of course by the weather. We have completely chilled out, which was just what we needed. It was nice to catch up and go down memory lane. We will be sad to leave. Thank you again.

Thank you Anne and John for your wonderful hospitality. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful and comfortable Gite. Thank you for the "Welcome Pack" and fresh produce from your garden. The views are beautiful around here. The Auberge des Pecheurs in la Celle Dunoise is well worth a visit with excellent food. Sarzay Chateau is amazing to wander around - you can pick up things and wander at will. Further west along the Creuse river there are some spectacular towns and villages - we loved Argenton-Sur-Creuse. Base Nautique de Sidiailles was open at the weekends, Allan and Matt went on the ZipWire - great fun. Such a lovely place for a picnic too. Bourges Cathedral is also well-worth a visit. Thank you so much for inviting us for an aperitif on our last evening.

Anne and John, we have both enjoyed our week at The Barn - its been a very chilled time. The whole environment from the wildlife, the scenery and the barn itself is perfect for a relaxing a peaceful break. Raspberries for breakfast from your garden - yummy! and thank you for the aperitif on our last night,
