Domaine de Chantageasse - La Sittelle

Best family holiday ever

The Domaine is in stunning countryside with a warm micro-climate which makes it the second sunniest region in France. The gites are sympathetically converted retaining the original character and surround a lush courtyard. Our 13 yr old son had great fun playing with English and Dutch kids of all ages - table tennis, darts, swimming in the lovely pool, playing tag, football, rugby and other games plus training with his dad in the gym. We played tennis in St Jean d'Angely and golf at Saintes, visited the aquarium at La Rochelle and went to a nearby vineyard to learn how cognac is made. The delicious in-house food includes barbeque nights, tapas, table d'hôtes, moules & frites and pizza. The family strike exactly the right chord, being friendly, approachable and always ready to help but never in-your-face. They are so welcoming that when they all waved us off after 2 weeks of fun and relaxation, it felt like leaving good friends. We immediately booked up for the following year!

Beste allemaal, wat begon onze vakantie toch goed zeg, met een overnachting bij jullie! Jullie hebben het mooi voor elkaar en het ziet er allemaal gaaf uit! Thanx voor de lekkere BBQ en voor de gastvrijheid! En ja, we zeiden al: zie je, dalijk komen we ergens en dan willen we langer blijven!! Het was zo: we hadden "spijt" dat we weer verder moesten! Dus zeker een reden om nog eens terug te komen!

Prachtig verblijf met heel toffe verhuurders. De echte gezelligheid van een 'familiebedrijf' Wat je ook vraagt : iedereen staat klaar om je een leuke vakantie te bezorgen.
