La Fleur

We booked 10 days in La Fleur, the smaller of the two Gites. On arrival, we were met by Tanya who was very welcoming and friendly. La fleur was perfect for our family. Nicely decorated and with lots of lovely finishing touches making it look homely not like a holiday gite. It had every mod con going - Tanya had thought of everything! The welcome basket of goodies on arrival was a great help until we could get to the supermarket. The garden and grounds were meticulously maintained with the gorgeous pool area being very well received on hot summer days by all the family. Tanya and husband Paul have clearly put a lot of time and effort into running their business which is very evident. They deserve to succeed, and in our opinion, shouldn't change a thing! A fantastic holiday was had by us all! Can't wait to return.

We have just returned from 2 weeks here and it was fantastic. Lovely gites, well appointed and the owners were always so friendly and helpful. All the facilities needed were provided, and then some. We travelled with two children (4 and 2) and they were also well catered for with toys, games and dvds provided as well as a very safe spacious garden, lovely heated pool and the owners children who were lovely and played with our children beautifully. Would highly recommend.

We've just returned home after a week in La Fleur gite at La Maison Bleue. It was the perfect week away, in the perfect place. We live in Yorkshire and flew into Bergerac, a really easy drive on quiet roads got us to the beautiful and tranquil Touron in no time.
Gite
The welcome basket of wine, bread, butter, cheese, jam, local pastries...was such a lovely touch. La Fleur was well equipped with everything we needed as a family with a 1.5 and 4 year old. Beautifully furnished and stocked with toys, books, dvds to keep the children happy.
Outside
There is a beautiful pool, with sun lounges and inflatables, safely surrounded by a fence and locked gates. The Garden has all the play equipment needed, trampoline, playhouse, ride ons, swings, slides etc
Surrounding area
There was so much to keep us happy and relaxed at the gite, but we did explore. Beaches, old towns, chateaus, vineyards, a really stunnng part of France and Royan Zoo was fantastic.
Hosts
Paul, Tanya and the girls were the perfect hosts. Always on hand for any questions, a very informative welcome pack is provided in the gite, but their recommendations were always a success. Such a lovely family, and really made our holiday perfect. The girls playing with our two was very welcome, and always enjoyed. Wine tasting on Monday night by the local vineyard was a great touch, and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for a family break, peace and sunshine. We are definitely going to book again.
