Chez Fert Country Cottage

We had a very nice holiday at Chez Fert. The cottage was beyond expectations, a perfect symbiosis between French countryside and English interior. Very comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom. Perfect garden with sun and shade and a stunning view over the hills.
The care of Barbara and Chris in the form of coffee, tea, pastry and the question if we had something to eat for tonight gave us directly the feeling that we were welcome.
Thanks for a very good stay, the wine, and looking forward to the next time.

We felt immediately very welcome. The perfect place to get away frpm all the work and stress of the last months. you brought us peace and quiet on the countryside. we all enjoyed the magnificent garden. The weather was'nt that good but perfect fpr our old Dog. We could enjoy watching at the planets and stars far more than in Belgium. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay. Not only did we enjoy the quiet, large garden with the many spots to sit either in the sun or shade, but also the occasional chat with Chris and Barbara. They informed us of nice places to visit and listened to the stories of our house-hunting trips.
It is certainly a place we will recommend to others.

A Truly peaceful retreat! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The cats of course added an extra dimension, they were lovely, great company, (especially TJ).
The garden, Starlight nights and rolling countryside were all a real treat.
We will be returning!
