zeer lieve mensen Penny & Mike! heel warm welkom en je kunt ze alles vragen, ze denken constant met je mee. huisje was perfect in orde en vooral de 'kleine' dingen zoals Rituals douchegel/shampoo en conditioner, een aankomstpakket van lekkere broodjes, wijn, yoghurt en dergelijke. heerlijk. rustig, fijn zwembad en prachtig uitzicht over e wijngaarden. echt een aanrader!

Mike and Penny gave us a warm welcome. Mike has rebuilt the gite some years ago so its completely modernised with old details. The kitchen is more complete than at home with f.i. oyster knives and electrical corkscrew. We felt as in a hotel with the 3 rituals flasks in the shower. The pool is modern and 30 degrees. The area is so quiet and relaxing that we slept better here than at home. There are thousands of vineyards and place to lunch or dine in the area. Mike and Penny helped us to select which to visit. We did some good walks in the vineyards and even did a part pf the Compostella trail. One night we used the BBQ which was already filled with coal before we arrived. We also Canoed on the Dordogne in Pessac, 15 min driving from the Gite. Thank you Penny and Mike for the nice week in your luxury Gite and for all your tips.

Imagine you wake up, open the windows and see in front of you vineyards as far as your eye can see...
Imagine you can experience the sound of the nature (yes, it does exist!)...
Imagine you can disconnect from the rest of the world and live a week (or even more if you want) peacefully and restfully...
This place is the gite that Penny and Mike has totally revamped, putting a touch of sober, elegant and finally irresistible design in the interior and exterior design.
We probably experienced the best holidays we ever lived so far.
Penny and Mike were very attentive in everything they did for us and particularly accurate in providing a lot of info about the best spots in the area where to eat, visit or have a drink.
Special mention to the swimming pool and the lovely gazebo in the middle of the garden, where you can enjoy an apéro at the sunset!
The area is wonderful and, thanks to the position of the gite, you can reach any significant spot (St Emilion, Bordeaux, Pessac, Bergerac) in 30min/1H max.

Zeer complete gite tussen de wijngaarden. Werkelijk alles is aanwezig. Fijn zwembad met ligstoelen etc. Zeer rustig. Penny en Mike zijn zeer gastvrij en hebben voor een welkomst levensmiddelen pakket gezorgd w.o. eieren, boter en melk. Helaas viel het weer wat tegen. Aanbevolen!

Fantastische gite! Zeer rustig gelegen met een prachtig uitzicht over de wijngaarden. Penny en Mike doen er alles aan om je een comfortabele vakantie te bezorgen. Erg fijne gastvrouw- en heer, en zij geven je ook alle privacy.
Werkelijk alles is aanwezig in de mooie gite. Voor de wat warmere avonden staan er ventilatoren op de slaapkamer, hoewel de gite aangenaam koel blijft door de dikke muren.
‘s Nachts hoor je af en toe een uil en verder is het er doodstil, Je kunt de ramen wagenwijd open laten staan. Je komt hier volledig tot rust, mede doordat het bed geweldig goed is, en groot.
De auto mag je naast de gite parkeren, en het zwembad kun je gebruiken wanneer je maar wilt. Boodschappen kun je doen in Pellegrue wat op 5 minuten rijden ligt. Verderop zijn grotere supermarkten te vinden op 12 en 25 minuten rijden. Penny stuurt een week voor vertrek een enorm uitgebreid informatiepakket waarin zeer gedetailleerd staat beschreven wat je allemaal kunt doen in de omgeving: wijntours, supermarkten, antiek en gewone markten, restaurants en vele uitstapjes.
Wij gaan zeker weer terug naar dit adres!

Fantastic gite! Quiet and peaceful location with a wonderful view over the vineyards. Penny and Mike will make sure you have a relaxed holiday. Very nice hosts who also give you all the privacy you need.
Fully equipped beautiful gite, all you can think of is available. For warmer nights there are ventilators available in the bedroom. Although the gite stays nice and cool because of the thick walls.
At night it is very quiet, all you hear is an owl now and then. You can leave your windows wide open! You will relax completely, also because the bed is of excellent quality, and also big. You may park your car next to the gite and you can use the pool whenever you want.
In Pellegrue is a supermarket which is a 5 minute drive. Larger supermarkets are a 12 or 25 minute drive away.
A week before arrival Penny will send you lots of information of all the things you can do and see in the surrounding area, such as winetours, supermarkets, antique and regular markets, restaurants and many trips.
We will definitely return to this wonderful gite!
