Gîte situé dans un endroit très calme, confortable (belle salle à vivre et bonne literie), bien situé pour visiter la région.
Hôtesse agréable, discrète et à l'écoute.

Heerlijke tijd gehad hier in Bentefarine. Mooi ruim appartement met de koele slaapkamers beneden. Mooi ruim balkon met prachtig uitzicht over de velden en heuvels. Alleen krekels, vogels en de hommels bij de lavendel hoor je. We zijn hier echt tot rust gekomen. Met het warme weer een eigen zwembad hebben we ook heerlijk. In the Barn misten we eigenlijk nog twee extra lekkere stoelen op het balkon en een koffiezetapparaat. Verder top voorzien van alle gemakken! De eigenaar woont ernaast, maar je ervaart toch heel veel privacy. In de omgeving is genoeg te bekijken. Het Middeleeuwse Mirepoix is vlakbij, met gezellige terrasjes en winkeltjes. Ook het kasteel van Foix is echt een aanrader.

Thank you for your review. Just to clarify, there are two types of coffee maker in the barn, one a 'French Press' and one a stovetop espresso coffee maker. Both make an excellent cup of coffee &require ground coffee and just a little time!

"Lovely barn conversion with fabulous views of the Pyrenees which meant beautiful sunsets across the mountains . Loads to see and do in the area and a lovely poole to relax in at the end of the day."

We had a great time in the Barn. The setting was beautiful. The facilities were great and made it so easy with kids (4 and 2 years old.) We particularly loved the outdoor space on the balcony which meant we could be outside without constantly running after our sprinter of a 2 year old.

The Barn is connected to the owner’s property but feels very private. It’s also a great spot for exploring the local area - lots of pretty towns and villages, castles and lakes.

Lisa, the owner, was very helpful in the run up and whilst we were there with any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
