We hebben een fantatische tijd gehad bij Sallie. Zeer charmante en aardige (gast)vrouw. Grote tuin vol met vogels. Zwembad was heerlijk, lekker gezwommen ('t weer was nog heerlijk weer 25C+ voor oktober). Mooi oud huis met een lekkere open haard om 's-avonds bij te zitten. De keuken is wel erg klein en minimaal, maar uiteindelijk goed te doen. Zeer rustig en kalm plek, precies wat we nodig hadden. In de buurt zijn leuke dorpjes. Uitdaging was wel om voldoende peut voor de auto te krijgen vanwege de stakingen.

'Le moulin des roses’ is a haven of peace. A lovely home on lovely grounds. My morning coffees on the veranda marked the beginning of wonderful days. If only for the fact that Bruno came to say hello to me every morning ;-) . The fantastic swimming pool made the heat wave bearable. We enjoyed this week to the full! Thank you very much, Sallie.

Fantastische tijd gehad, mooi hitte.
Warm welkom van eigenaresse Sally. Goede bedden, heerlijk groot zwembad. Enorme tuin met af en toe herten en hazen .

Had the most fantastic holiday in a beautiful Gite and settings. Lovely to meet Sallie (owner) and Dave, who made us feel so welcome. Great location for visiting local and further afield locations. Rosie our little dog soon knew her place with Sallies 5 cats (very funny to see) and the pool was a god-send for the hot days. Thank you! xx

3 weken enorm genoten in deze bijzondere Gite in deze verassend mooie omgeving. Deed ons erg denken aan Toscane maar dan minder gepolijst. Ook dat het overal zo rustig is en het toerisme en de plaatselijke bevolking in balans was, sprak ons erg aan. Er zijn veel lieflijke eeuwenoude dorpjes in de nabije omgeving en op wandel-en fiets afstand te bewonderen.
De heerlijke tuin en zwembad bij de Gite zijn fijne plekken om tot rust te komen en je ergens anders te wanen......Periodes van absolute stiltes zijn daar nog heel gewoon evenals de fantastische sterrenhemels waar we erg van genoten hebben.
De gite is een hele fijne plek om te zijn; heerlijk koel op warme dagen en knus in de avond. De ruimte boven is een prachtig ingerichte plek om te slapen. De kitchenette was even omschakelen maar goed te doen.
De Gite ligt op een erf in soort gehuchtje waar de lieve hulpvaardige eigenaresse ook woont en bereikbaar is. we hebben ons er heel erg welkom gevoeld.
